Equipment

Ingredients

  • 3 Zucchini
  • 2 Tablespoons Olive oil
  • 2 Tablespoons Freshly Ground Thyme
  • 2 Tablespoons Sesame Seeds
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
  • 1 Teaspoon Freshly Grated Garlic

Instructions

  • Clean and dry zucchini
  • Cut them into a thin slices either on a bread/meat cutting machine, or by hand at the thinnest. I have used bread machine on N1.
  • Place all the zucchinis into a bowl, sprinkle with olive oil, freshly ground thyme, sesame seeds, salt and garlic.
  • Gently mix all together and place it onto the dehydrator plates.
  • Switch the dehydrator onto the highest ( in my case it is 70 C or 158 Fahrenheit)
  • Switch the plates every 2 hours to get the drying process evenly.
  • Once done store it in the airtight container or enjoy it in 2 minutes as we did ( or one person in our family did)

Notes

  • Herbs - you can use any fresh herbs you have available or dry mix as well
  • Zucchini - should be sliced using a meat slicer (easiest) or vegetable slicer
  • Oil - you can use avocado oil as well instead of olive oil
  • Seeds - I love to use sesame seeds for their taste, but you can replace them with your favorite seeds
