Ingredients

  • 1 Pound Large Shrimp peeled and deveined
  • ½ teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 2 Tablespoons Avocado Oil
  • ¼ teaspoon Black Pepper freshly ground
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Sweet Paprika Spice
  • Lemon Wedges optional, for serving
  • Fresh Parsley chopped, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°Fahrenheit (200°Celsius) for 3 minutes. Gather peeled shrimp, avocado oil, paprika, garlic granules, salt, and cracked pepper so everything is ready.
  • Whisk avocado oil, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl until evenly combined into a smooth seasoning mix.
  • Toss the shrimp in the seasoned oil until fully coated and let them rest for 10 minutes so the flavors absorb.
  • Arrange shrimp in a single layer in the basket and cook for 5–6 minutes, flipping or shaking halfway. Finish with fresh parsley and a squeeze of lemon before serving.

Notes

  • Use Fresh or Thawed Shrimp: Always use fresh or fully thawed shrimp for the best texture. Frozen shrimp can release extra water and make the coating less crispy.
  • Pat Shrimp Dry: Before seasoning, pat the shrimp dry with paper towels. Removing excess moisture helps them crisp up in the air fryer.
  • Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheating ensures even cooking and a perfectly crunchy exterior. This step also prevents the shrimp from sticking to the basket.
  • Don’t Overcrowd the Basket: Give each shrimp space to cook evenly. Overcrowding can cause them to steam instead of fry, reducing crispiness.
