  • Stir together oil, brown sweetener, sage, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  • Rub the mixture over both sides of the pork chops and let them sit for 10 minutes to absorb the flavor.
  • Cook in a single layer at 380°ahrenheitF (190°Celsius) for 5 minutes per side until the internal temperature reaches 145°Fahrenheit (63°Celsius), then rest 3–5 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Pat dry before seasoning: Make sure to pat the pork chops dry with paper towels before adding oil and spices. This helps the coating stick better and gives a juicy and tender finish.
  • Don’t overcrowd the basket: Leave space between each pork chop in the air fryer basket. Air needs to circulate for the crust to turn golden and crunchy.
  • Flip halfway through: Turn the pork chops once during cooking. This ensures both sides get evenly browned and stay juicy inside.
  • Use a meat thermometer: Check the pork’s internal temperature to reach at least 145°Fahrenheit. This prevents overcooking while keeping the meat tender and safe to eat.
