Equipment

Ingredients

  • 1 Pound Ground Chicken
  • 1 Piece Zucchini medium, grated and squeezed well to remove moisture
  • 2 Pieces Garlic Cloves finely minced
  • 1 Piece Egg large
  • 2 Pieces Green Onions thinly sliced
  • ½ teaspoon Smoked Paprika
  • ½ teaspoon Onion Powder
  • ¼ teaspoon Black Pepper ground
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • ¼ teaspoon Olive Oil for frying

Instructions

  • Set out ground chicken, grated zucchini, egg, green onions, garlic, spices, and olive oil so everything is ready to use.
  • Grate the zucchini and squeeze out as much moisture as possible to keep the fritters from turning soggy.
  • Combine chicken, zucchini, egg, green onions, garlic, paprika, onion powder, salt, and pepper until evenly mixed.
  • Form into 1½-inch balls and pan-fry in olive oil over medium heat for 3–4 minutes per side until golden and cooked through.

Notes

  • Use Fresh Zucchini: Always choose firm and bright green zucchini for the best flavor. Grate them finely and squeeze out excess water to keep your fritters crispy.
  • Season Well: Don’t forget to season the mixture with salt, pepper, and your favorite herbs. Proper seasoning enhances the flavor and makes the fritters more delicious.
  • Cook on Medium Heat: Use medium heat when frying to ensure the fritters cook through without burning. Flip them carefully to get a golden brown, crispy exterior on both sides.
