1 Large Pot
1 Fine Mesh Sieve
1 Large Glass Container
1.5 Cups Raspberries fresh or frozen 5 Cups Water 2 Tablespoons Sweetener 4 Tablespoons Gelatin
Measure all ingredients and have your pot, blender, sieve, and container ready.
Simmer water, sweetener, and raspberries for 10 minutes, then blend until smooth.
Strain the mixture, return to low heat, and whisk in gelatin until fully dissolved without boiling.
Pour into a container, cool, then refrigerate at least 3 hours until fully set.
Use a glass container rather than plastic for setting the jello, as glass holds the cold more evenly and gives you cleaner slices.
Run a sharp knife under warm water before slicing for the cleanest cuts without the jello sticking or tearing.
If the gelatin starts to clump when you sprinkle it in, whisk immediately rather than waiting, as clumps that sit too long are harder to dissolve.
A wider, shallower container gives you more surface area and thinner slices that set faster than a deep, narrow one.
