Ingredients

Instructions

  • Prepare all of your ingredients.
  • Add an egg, cinnamon and your sugar sweetener into the bowl. Using your hand mixer, beat until light and fluffy.
  • Once your egg, cinnamon and sugar are fully mixed, add the rest of the ingredients and mix once again.
  • Add a few drops of vanilla extract into the mixture and make sure everything is fully incorporated.
  • Once you prepare the mixture, you can switch on your Dash Mini Maker. Ensure it heats up thoroughly, and you can start making keto chaffles.
  • Spray your dash mini maker with extra virgin olive oil, add scoop of the mixture, close the lid and wait until the green light switches off - ready and heated. Once the green light switches off and you see the steam reduce it is a sign your chaffle is ready. Continue after all of your chaffles are done.
  • Serve it as you would normally enjoy waffles. Pour sugar-free liquid honey or maple syrup.

Notes

  • Protein powder – omit if you want a softer version of chaffles.
  • Oil spray – make sure you spray your dash mini maker after every chaffle to avoid sticking.
  • Scooping – it is best to find the right size scoop using a dash maker. I love to use ice cream scoops, which I have in various sizes, as this will ensure I scoop up the exact amount and do not have to worry about the mixture running out of the grills.
