Instructions

  • If you have frozen chicken, you can in 10 minutes pressure chicken into perfectly cooked pieces using Instant Pot or any home pressure cooker following my post.
  • On a cutting board, place your chicken breast and shred the chicken into smaller strips using a fork or your hand.
  • Place the chicken strips onto the dehydrator trays, ensuring they do not overlap. Place onto a dehydrator, close the lid, and set the temperature setting to 70 degrees Celsius or 145 degrees to 165 degrees Fahrenheit. Dehydrate for 5 to 7 hours making sure you alternate the trays filled with chicken every few hours for thorough drying.

Notes

  • Type of Chicken - best is full-cooked chicken, which is then shredded
  • Excess liquid - make sure an excess liquid is taken out after your cooking as it prolongs the drying process.
  • Fat - make sure all of the fat from the chicken is taken out
