Instructions

  • For making a pure protein powder, all you need is chicken. I have used my recipe for making frozen chicken in an Instant Pot in 10 minutes, which you can follow.
  • Open your instant pot, place a rack and add one cup of water or broth. If you want to add some seasoning that goes well with chicken, you can do that now. Place your frozen chicken breasts into the Instant Pot. Close the lid, close the valve and set the pressure high for 10 minutes.
  • Shred the cooked chicken into small pieces using a fork or your hands. Place those on dehydrating trays and dry for 5 to 7 hours, depending on the size and thickness of your meat.
  • Once your chicken pieces are dehydrated, place them into the magic bullet, food processor, blender, or coffee grinder. Blend thoroughly until a smooth, dry powder forms.

Notes

  • Instant pot - use a cooking pot for cooking the chicken. You can also use leftover meat from any chicken dishes.
  • Dehydrator - oven or air fryer will help dry your meats in case the dehydrator is not in your kitchen
  • Magic Bullet - powder your dry food with a coffee grinder, blender, or food processor.
  • Type of meat - any leftover, cooked, baked chicken thighs or any cut of chicken you have available.
