Ingredients

  • 18 Pieces Onion Spring
  • 20 Slices Bacon

Instructions

  • Prepare your sliced bacon on the side and heat your stove.
  • Place your frying pan on the stove and set medium heat to maximum. Once fully hot, add the bacon slices to the skillet and let them cook slowly to render the fat and crisp up nicely. Using 2 wooden spatulas, flip and make sure the bacon cooks evenly on all sides. Let it cook until brown and crispy. The cooking time is usually 5 minutes or less depending on the thickness of the bacon.
  • Keep cooking the bacon and add some young onions for additional flavor. This is only optional. After cooking, carefully remove the bacon from the pan and place it on paper towels to drain excess grease. Serve immediately and enjoy your perfectly cooked bacon.

Notes

  • Cook in batches: If ever you have a lot of bacon to cook, do it in batches to avoid overcrowding the pan.
  • Bacon grease: If you do not want greasy bacon, you can simply dry your pan with a paper towel. This way, the paper towel can absorb all bacon fats and you can enjoy it without worrying about the grease.
  • Avoid mess: For easy cleaning, simply wipe down the stove and skillet while they are still warm.
