Ingredients

  • 3 Slices of Bacon or Prosciutto
  • 9 Brussels Sprouts
  • Salt and Pepper

Instructions

  • Prepare your ingredients and fully clean Brussels sprouts. I usually take the first outer leaves out as well. You can cut the bacon or prosciutto into half if it is too wide. Get your baking tray ready and line it with parchment paper for easy clean-up. At the same time, preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius or 400 Degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Take a wooden skewer and assemble the skewers by threading one end of a bacon slice, then a Brussels sprout, followed by another piece of bacon, another Brussels sprout, and finally, the other end of the bacon. This creates a tasty and attractive skewer. Please look at the images or video for more clarification on the instructions.
  • Place the assembled skewers on the baking sheet pan covered with parchment paper. Season with salt and pepper. Roast in a hot oven for approximately 30 minutes or until the Brussels sprouts are golden brown and the bacon is crispy on the outside. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • To make Brussels sprouts taste with extra flavor, consider drizzling the roasted skewers with balsamic vinegar or a touch of maple syrup.
  • Brussels sprouts can also be cooked in an air fryer for a quick and crispy result.
  • If you are using frozen Brussels sprouts, ensure they are fully thawed before roasting.
  • Leftover oven roasted Brussels sprouts can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
