GOOGLE ANALYTICS

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service available from Google Inc. (‘Google’). Google Analytics uses so-called ‘cookies’, text files which are stored on your computer and which make possible the analysis of your use of the website. The information regarding your use of this website (including your IP address) from the cookies is sent to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Google uses this information to analyze your use of the website, to compile reports about website activity for the website operator and to produce additional services associated with the use of the website and Internet. Google may also send this information to third parties if this is legally permitted or if third parties process this data on behalf of Google. On no account will Google link your IP address to any other data retrieved by Google. You can prevent the cookies from being installed by means of an appropriate setting in your browser software; however, we would like to point out that this may mean that it will not be possible for you to make full use of this website’s functions. The use of this website implies your agreement to Google using the data collected from you in the way described above and for the purposes described above. You can find more about Google analytics here:

https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=en

BROWSER PLUGIN

You can opt out of data collection and storage by Google Analytics at any time, with immediate effect, by downloading and installing a browser add-on for deactivating Google Analytics.  You can find this deactivation add-on here:  https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en-GB

IP ANONYMIZATION

In view of the discussion about the use of Google Analytics with complete IP addresses, we would like to point out that this website uses Google Analytics with the ‘_anonymizeIp()’ extension, so that IP addresses are only processed further in abbreviated form in order to prevent them being directly linked to a particular individual.

USE OF FACEBOOK SOCIAL PLUGINS/WIDGETS

This website uses so-called ‘social plugins’ (‘plugins’) from the Facebook social network, operated by Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA (‘Facebook’). This information (including your IP address) is sent by your browser directly to a Facebook server in the USA and is stored there.
If you are logged on to Facebook, Facebook is then able to allocate the visit to our website directly to your Facebook account. If you interact with the plugins, for example, if you click on the ‘Like‘ button or enter a comment, the corresponding information will be sent directly to a Facebook server and stored there. The information will also be published on Facebook and shown to your Facebook friends.

Facebook may use this information for purposes of advertising, market research and personalized design of Facebook pages. Facebook creates usage, interests and relationships profiles for this, e.g. to analyze your use of our website regarding the adverts displayed to you on Facebook, to inform other Facebook users about your activities on our website and to provide further related services using Facebook.
If you do not want Facebook to collect data about you via our website and to link this with your data stored on Facebook, you should log-off from Facebook before visiting our website.
The purpose and scope of data collection and ongoing processing and use of data by Facebook, as well as your rights and the setting options for protecting your privacy can be found in Facebook data protection: https://www.facebook.com/policy.php
