Equipment

Ingredients

  • 2 Medium Avocados
  • 2 Tablespoons Lime Juice
  • 6 Tablespoons Sugar Alternative
  • 1 Cup Unsweetened Almond Milk
  • Chocolate ganache:
  • 2/3 Cup Low Carb Chocolate
  • 2 teaspoons Cacao Butter

Instructions

  • Prepare all of the ingredients for making the best homemade popsicles. That is avocado, sweetener, lime, and almond milk in our case.
  • Add all ingredients into the magic bullet or a blender and blend it thoroughly.
  • Once fully blended, pick your molds for our healthy popsicles and fill each one of them. You can slightly bang it against the counter to eliminate all of the bubbles. Add a wooden popsicle stick and freeze fully overnight.
  • If you want to continue adding chocolate, you can melt one of the low-carb chocolate together with cocoa butter over a double boiler. Once melted, dip your avocado frozen popsicles in and coat with chocolate. You can also use our Magic Shell recipe for coating if you wish to.

Notes

  • There are no freezing molds - use mini yogurt cups, paper cups, or cupcake liners.
  • Avocado Ice Cream - place the mixture into the container, cover it with cling film, and have it like ice cream once hardened.
  • Chocolate Ganache - can be replaced with our sugar-free magic shell
  • Milk replacement - any of the Low Carb Milk Alternatives such as coconut milk, hazelnut milk, heavy cream, or coconut cream
  • Lime - can be replaced with lemon but is a must to retain the green color of avocado
  • Berries - you can add blended berries to make a beautiful rainbow ice pops
  • Nutritional values - nutrition information are calculated without the chocolate ganache
  • Mini Avocado Popsicles - If you would like to make those tiny Easter Avo Pops, just follow the recipe and fill up one of your silicone molds with it. Kist would love it, and it is just perfect for the Easter celebration
