As Sugar-Free Popsicles are the most straightforward Ice Cream to make, I will stay at that with our new recipe. 

I mean, just look at our Avocado Popsicles. How gorgeous they are. Or Skyr Protein Popsicles, or Eggnog Popsicles

There are more. Those Mini Popsicles with Easter shapes are beautiful, especially when kids are around.

Popsicles are simply Ice Pops on a stick to give it individual portions.
The advantage of making a popsicle is that you do not have to keep whipping it, like ice cream, to hold the proper texture.

Popsicles are just a mixture poured into individual forms and frozen.

Any Diabetic can have Sugar-Free Popsicles as long as they watch their blood sugar. Some store-bought Popsicles are labeled as Sugar-Free or Keto, but when you read the ingredients, you might realize that they are not real Sugar-Free. 

Some might have reduced sugar, which still would need to be considered for additional insulin for Diabetics. 

Some Diabetics might also react differently to different Sugar Substitutes, which must be checked individually.

But on this, I have to say. A Sugar-Free homemade Popsicles would be the best choice as you would know exactly what ingredients you put in, and you choose the ingredients that are very low in glycemic index and are already tested before.

Valentines Sugar-Free Ice Pops

Today, I wanted to make something a bit celebratory. I mean, when I saw these beautiful mini ice molds with double hearts, I had to get them and use them immediately.

My first thought was to make Valentine’s Popsicles. But then, as I started thinking, I realized those should not be made only for Valentines because the silicone form is red and in the shape of two hearts. 

We should use them for Mothers Day, Fathers day, Kids Birthdays, and any event where you want to spread love. 

We should add them even for Christmas, Easter, or any other holiday choice. They are beautiful on their own and will make any Party table fantastic looking. 

Homemade Popsicles

We can make Homemade Popsicles anytime you have a few spare minutes in the kitchen. 

You make them quick and easy and store them in your freezer whenever you need them – no need to get stressed, just the day of the party. Have them ready even a week in advance. 

Healthy Popsicles

Those are the healthiest popsicles you can have. Well, apart from our Avocado ones, which you can serve even for Breakfast, that’s how great they are. 

I have picked only the best ingredients for you, most of which you can make at home from a complete Scratch.

Ingredients for Sugar-Free Popsicles

  • Whipped Cream

As a base of the recipe, I have used our Whipped Cream you have ready in less than 2 minutes. 

  • Homemade Greek Yogurt

Added into the Whipped Cream comes our Homemade Greek Yogurt done in an Instant Pot without any other cultures you have to purchase. Only two spoons of Greek yogurt and full-fat milk will get you an entire container of Greek Sugar-Free Yogurt, which you can use for lots of other recipes as well. 

  • Chocolate Magic Shell

Once your Sugar-Free Ice Pops are frozen, you can dip them into our Magic Shell Chocolate Sauce made from our Homemade Dark Chocolate Bar, which gives you that really thin layer of Chocolate you are used to from store-bought Popsicles. 

And all of this is Keto, Low Carb, Sugar-Free, Gluten-Free, and perfect for Diabetics without raising their blood sugar and still enjoying occasional treats.

How To Make Easy Sugar-Free Ice Cream Popsicles

STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS TO THE BEST KETO POPSICLES

First Step: Popsicle Ingredients

Prepare all ingredients for making the best sugar-free popsicles. 

As an excellent sweetener, I would suggest using Allulose if you have it on hand as it gives those popsicles an additional creaminess.

You can prepare Whipped Cream and Greek yogurt in advance following our recipes.

You can also make our Sugar-Free Chocolate and Chocolate Magic Shell following our recipe if you need more tips and tricks. 

You can, of course, get all store-bought if you do not have much time or have store-bought ingredients on hand.

Second Step: Prepare Whipped Cream

Using a hand blender container, simply pour your heavy cream and sweetener and whip until stiff peaks.

Third Step: Yogurt & Whipped Cream

Once your whipped cream is ready, place it into the Mixing bowl with yogurt and whisk until all combined. The whipped cream adds lots of fluffiness and yogurt creaminess into those sugar-free popsicles.

Fourth Step: Fill your Molds and Freeze

Once all whipped, fill up our silicone molds using a small spoon.

Add a popsicle stick and add one more spoon to cover it. 

You can gently bang filled silicone mold against your kitchen counter to eliminate any bubbles formed. 

Place in the freezer and freeze for 3-4 hours, best overnight.

Fifth Step: Ingredients for Chocolate Magic Shell

Prepare your ingredients for making a Chocolate Magic Shell sauce.

Sixth Step: Prepare Magic Shell

Using a double boiler, place sugar-free chocolate and coconut butter in and let it all melt together.

Preparing Dipping Chocolate

Seventh Step: Dip and enjoy

When your popsicles are fully frozen, and you are ready to dip, place the chocolate sauce into a tall container so you can dip the popsicles in. 

Let the sauce cool a bit, and one by one, dip your Heart shape popsicles in. 

Once dipped, you will see the chocolate shell hardening immediately.

Enjoy either immediately or store in the freezer for later.

Tips and tricks:

  • Ice Popsicle Molds – best is to use silicone as the pops are easy to remove once frozen. 
  • Sweetener – as I am in love with Allulose, I found the best sweetener to work with, especially for ice creams and popsicles. Allulose gives that additional creaminess to the popsicles. 

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS

How do you store popsicles?

Once you have your popsicles dipped in a chocolate magic shell, you will see the chocolate hardening immediately. 

To give them a bit of shelf life while serving, it is great to place them on crushed ice, which would prevent them from melting.

To store, I would suggest wrapping each popsicle individually, either with a cling film or plastic wrap, and placing them all into a ziplock bag.

Stored as described, place them into the freezer.

How do you freeze popsicles?

As I already mentioned above, it is best to freeze those sugar-free popsicles wrapped individually.
