Cooking Frozen Chicken Wings In An Air Fryer
This recipe has become one of the easiest air fryer recipes I make.
If you want to start a low-carb journey, try investing in a good quality air fryer and I swear you can cook anything you want and even bake bread or cakes in it.
Dry Rub For Crispy Chicken Wings
A dry rub is a special mix of spices that we use to season our chicken wings. You should not skip this process because it is what adds flavor and makes the wings extra special. Plus, the dry rub helps the wings get crispy when they cook in the air fryer.
Thawing Frozen Chicken Wings In Air Fryer
While some people directly cook their frozen chicken wings in the air fryer, you can also cook it in a way where you defrost your chicken first. This way is better because it ensures even cooking and better results for whatever you cook.
Sure, you can also cook frozen chicken directly but remember that when you do that, the outside may cook faster than the inside and it might leave you with wings that are overcooked on the outside and undercooked on the inside.
Is Cooking Chicken Wings In The Air Fryer Better Than Deep Frying?
Cooking chicken wings in the air fryer is better than deep frying because it uses much less oil and it is super easy. When you deep fry wings, they soak up a lot of oil, making them greasy and high in calories. But with the air fryer, you only need a small amount of oil or sometimes none at all.
