Keto Snacks
Snacks are always perceived as something not healthy. But in our lifestyle, any type of snacking is just perfect.
Minimal Carbs and all homemade.
The best example to start with is Keto Popcorn with only cheese. Or Cloud Egg Crisps with eggs, Air Fryer Pork Rinds made fully at home. Zucchini chips, Cheesy Bread Bites or Keto Crackers.
Whatever you will pick, they are all super nutritional, but still part of snacking time.
Keto Dough
Keto Dough being discovered by Heavenly Fan has reached our Blog for the third time today. Started with Keto Tater Tots, followed by the best and crunchiest ever Keto French Fries, I could not stop there.
Those Keto Chips are not the last. I promise. There are so many variations you can have.
This dough goes further and is getting viral as much as Fathead Dough is.
And believe me. Wait for a while, and you will see books made with only Heavenly Keto Dough.
Cooking Options for Keto Tortillas
Keto Tortillas can be made in various ways. To keep them crispy, you have to give them at least a bit of oil. Therefore, whatever option you choose, I would suggest spraying them with oil from both sides.
Deep Frying – that is the option I have chosen. Even though not the healthiest, but you get the crispiest Tortillas ever.
Air Fryer – the modern way to crisp up your snacks. Air fry Tortillas for approximately 6 minutes
Oven – The healthiest option, baked at 200C or 400F until Golden Brown. You might turn them towards the end to get both of the seeds fully crispy.
After making several chips and crackers from various Keto Dough, I have realized, the best and fastest way to cut into any shape is with bigger size Pizza Cutters. They are super sharp and really easy to gently roll through the dough.
You can always spray them gently with oil or water, to prevent sticking.
Smaller size pizza rollers do not work well with me, as the dough sticks to them pretty easy.
I have seen this tip in several TikTok videos and as it works I wanted to share this tip with you as well.
Get 2 identical rulers. They are normally a few millimeters thick.
Once your dough is rolled halfway, place each ruler on the end of the dough, and with our Cookie roller keep rolling, having the ends touching the rulers. This will make sure your dough will be not only perfectly thin, but identical in thickness as well.
O yes. You can experiment with seasoning big time. Each herb has its flavor and taste, and you will be surprised how different your chips will taste. I love to add something spicy to mine.
Also, a bit of Italian seasoning will give me that Mediterranean feeling while munching on Tortillas.
What do you serve with Keto Tortilla Chips?
You can eat Tortilla Chips on its own as I do, but it is common to serve them always with some kind of dips.
In a Mexican restaurant, Tortillas and dips are a must first thing you sit down.
Experiment with flavors of your choice, or choose as an example:
- Mix avocado with tiny tomatoes and a bit of mint with lemon
- Cheese Dip – Cheese mixed with cream cheese, crushed garlic, and seasonings
- Guacamole Dip
- Creamy Salsa Dressing
- Green Goddess Dressing
- Plain yogurt with Curcuma
- Pine cone cheese ball
- Beet Spread
- Tuna Mix
- Taco Casserole

STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTION FOR THE CRUNCHIEST EVER KETO TORTILLA CHIPS
First Step: Prepare Ingredients
Prepare all of your ingredients and make sure you have boiling water on as well.
Boiling water helps the dough to combine evenly.
At the same time, you can also prepare herbs of your choice in case you would like to add some.
Second Step: Mix Dry Ingredients
In a cup, mix all the dry ingredients and make sure no lumps or bigger pieces appear.
Third Step: Add Hot Water
Once everything is fully mixed, add hot water and make sure you start mixing immediately.
Fourth Step: Fully Mix
Fully mix all the dry ingredients with the hot water until fully combined and your dough is nice and silky.
Fifth Step: Spray
On your table, prepare two parchment papers and spray both of them with oil before you place the dough.
This keto dough is pretty sticky, and not spraying the parchment paper will result in not being able to peel it afterward.
If you don’t want to use oil, water in a spray bottle works as well.
Sixth Step: Roll & Peel
Roll the dough into really thin and try to shape in square or rectangle size.
When you’re happy with the dough being rolled, start peeling the top parchment paper gently from the dough.
What I have found helped me greatly is to spray the top of the parchment paper with water.
Seventh Step: Cut
As you see in the video and images, cut the dough into squares and then triangles.
Leave it set for approximately 10 to 15 minutes.
As I have mentioned, this dough is pretty sticky, and letting it sit will help greatly, and would be easier to peel it later on.
Eight Step: Fry
Slowly place each one of the Tortilla chips on a frying pan and fry it on medium heat making sure you turn it a few times.
Once your keto tortilla chips are ready, placed them on a plate covered with paper tissue, which will take out most of the extra oil.
Tips & Tricks
Thin Rolling – to roll your dough thin, use 2 identical rulers on each side of your rolled dough. Make sure your rolling pin is on the edges on top of each ruler. This will roll your dough not only super thin but perfectly even.
Easy Cutting – the easiest way to cut any dough is with pizza cutters. Oil it or water it so nothing gets sticky
10 minutes rest – After you roll the dough, let it sit for 10 minutes. This will prevent stickiness and will be easier to handle

You can certainly freeze those tortillas. I would suggest freezing them raw.

I can see how this combination of flours would work for tortilla chips, and I like that it isnโt fathead dough, but do they taste like the coconut flour? Iโm wondering if there is a way to sub some of that with Oat fiber or whey protein. Have you tried any substitutions?
Thanks.
When you fry themm in oil, the coconut taste diminishes completely. You would not taste it at all.
Oil is not on the ingredients list. How much/what kind of oil do you recommend?
Only a tiny bit to cover the pan.
