Enchiladas, together with our taco recipes such as meat, soup, cups, salsa, guacamole, casserole, or salad with an edible bowl can be an excellent idea for a delicious keto Mexican evening or a party.

Keto Enchilada Recipes

The seasoning I have prepared for you today is a base for great recipes like enchiladas. Mix it into a tortilla, make the perfect enchilada sauce recipe with it, and sprinkle additionally on the whole enchiladas casserole.

The mixture is so delicious that you will use it often from now on. Mixing one flavorful spice or herb with another

gives you the perfect blend you have been looking for.

What is Enchilada?

Traditional enchilada originated in Mexico, where plain corn tortillas were rolled and dipped in a chili sauce. This popular dish has been sold all over the streets of Mexico.

Since then, the dish has expanded into today’s version of rolled flatbread filled with various protein veggies and chili sauce and then topped with cheese. All are placed into the baking dish and baked together until all the cheese is melted.

How To Make The Best Enchilada Spice Mix?

For all of the best flavors to add when making enchiladas sauce and the whole dish, you need spices as the base. Our spice mix combines authentic flavors that complement each other. They give you a perfect base for all of the enchiladas dishes.

Earthy spices like chili powder, onion powder, ground paprika, Mexican oregano, ground cumin, garlic, black pepper, salt, brown sweetener, and cinnamon give you the best mix of all.

With our recipe to make, you simply mix the freshest herbs and spices into one flavorful blend you can use.

What Is Traditional Enchilada Sauce Made Of?

A traditional enchilada sauce is made from freshly roasted peppers, vegetables, and a spice blend used in Mexican cuisine. All this is mixed with broth or stock into a perfectly smooth sauce.

The difference between enchilada and chili sauce or salsa is that those are based on tomatoes or tomato sauce.

All the beautiful colors in enchilada sauce come from roasted red peppers and 1 to 2 tablespoons of seasoning used.

What’s The Difference Between Taco Seasoning and Enchilada Seasoning?

The main difference between taco seasoning, which I also have for you, and enchilada seasoning, is the chilli and sweetness. Taco seasoning uses much more spiciness and cayenne pepper in the blend. Enchilada seasoning on the odder site is a bit sweeter because of added sugar. In our case, homemade brown sugar instead of the original is used.
