KETO EGG DROP SOUP
Bone Broth has got so many health benefits one would be surprised. If you want to learn more about them have a look here.
I love it, my husband loves it, but my daughter …. not so much.
Well, she eats it, but she is not excited when we have it for lunch or dinner.
The story goes:
One day, she stayed for lunch at my friend’s place.
Came home and the first thing was, she started explaining to me how great and unbelievable soup they had. She said, she never ever had such a lovely soup and I should definitely make one like that.
So, the next thing: what would I not do for my kid. I immediately went to call a friend to ask what kind of soup they had and if she could give me a recipe.
She told me they had a Bone Broth.
I could not believe it. I ask if she was certain, that it was a bone broth. She said yes. Then I asked her how she did it exactly, so maybe the way was some special way and different then I normally do it.
After she explained all of the steps, I could not believe it. It was exactly like mine.
Talked to Sophie and asked her how is it possible that she so much LOVED it, when I do the exact same. She replied, that I never did that soup and it was not a bone broth.
So there I went to call again. Asked my friend for any special ingredients she added what she did not tell me because my daughter keeps saying that it was not a bone broth.
Not. All same.
The day after she called me back again and said, that maybe it was the egg inside. I said what? An egg? In the bone broth?
So she started explaining how she puts an egg at the end.
The next day I tried it and BANG.
Sophie was ecstatic and kept telling me that yes, that is the exact soup she had at a friends place.
And all that was just 1 additional egg. Just one simple egg and she loves my bone broth again.
Wanna know the recipe? here it goes.
I have even made a video to show you exactly how a proper Egg Drop Soup is made.
