I am here if you need help deciding which recipe to pick. Not only do you have a choice of over 35 low carb recipes to choose from, but each one is unique. I have put together a collection where everyone can find their favorite.
An essential recipe is a broth or stock. Whether you cook it on a stove, in an Instant Pot, Slow Cooker, or Thermomix, it does not matter. It does not matter if you pick a bone, meat, chicken, or turkey. The most important is that you have it at home.
Broth soup is one not only on its own but as a base for so many easy low carb soup recipes. I add it to our ramen noodles, keto tomato soup, and egg drop soup.
Next, most important, is a keto chicken noodle soup I make every time someone is sick. It is not only extra delicious, but it always helps. With a little bit of chili, everyone feels 50% better after a big bowl of healthiness.
Followed, comes the beauties. In my humble opinion, our creamy pumpkin soup is loaded with only the best and is the most beautiful served in an edible roasted pumpkin bowl. This low-carb soup looks as if it was served in a Michelin-star restaurant. Taco soup with ground beef is gorgeous because of the vibrant colors included.

Did you know that keto soups are easy to prepare?
If you are new to our lifestyle, you might need help figuring out where to start.
But frankly, there is no significant difference between an ordinary and a low carb soup, not in taste, and slightly in ingredients used.
We do not use regular noodles but have a great choice of pasta alternatives. Do not thicken with starches or flour. Those are replaced with blended veggies, un-fattened nut flours, or xanthan gum.
We also avoid potatoes and rice but can magically replace the flavors with our homemade seasonings.
Apart from those, we use everything else that everyone else does. Meats, veggies, seafood, seasonings, you name it.
Creamy keto soup Ideas
There are a few ways you can make keto soup creamier.
Cream – this one is understood. Heavy cream, sour cream, yogurt, coconut cream, coconut milk, or any other cream can be added.
Vegetables – a cup of pureed vegetables from the soup will soften and cream the texture.
Bread – a few pieces of one of keto bread placed into the soup for a few minutes and then pureed will help dearly.
Cheese – adding grated cheese to the hot soup will not only thicken it but will also add that perfect creaminess.
How to thicken keto soups?

To sum it up, there are a few possibilities:
blend the vegetables in
add avocado
use cauliflower
add a tiny bit of Xanthan Gum or gelatine
use less broth
What keto pasta alternatives can be used for soup?
Making soup is the best quick and easy way to get low carb meals on the table.
The most important tip from me is to keep your cooking simple. With just a few simple ingredients, fresh veggies, and herbs, you can whip up the most delicious soup one can only dream of. Making one of the soups in here is super easy to make.
Using our suggestions for broth as a base, thickening, and adding creams and keto noodles, you will have a soup everyone will talk about.
How to cut more carbs from keto soups?
The most carbs a regular soup contains are from thickening agents and noodles.
As I already mentioned, their replacement, by following the tips, you can cut your carb content by almost 90% out of a delicious bowl of soup.
All you will be left are soups low in carbs from vegetables and nut flours used.
Types of easy keto soup recipes
I, like everyone else, have a list of ideas. My list for you consists of the following low carb soup recipes I would like to make. The list is asparagus soup, cheddar soup, cheese soup, chicken broth, roasted cauliflower, keto broccoli cheese soup, zucchini soup, cream of mushroom soup, and cabbage roll soup, just to name a few. Not sure if I will manage them all, few or even a different ones, but will do my best.

How to store keto soups?
Storing keto soup is the same as storing regular homemade soup. Let it cool on the kitchen counter and place it into your fridge. Stored in a closed cooking pot, your soup will last 3 to 4 days without any issues. Anything longer, freeze.
How to freeze low carb soup?
It is very simple to freeze one of our soups. I usually use tall wide Mason jars. Fill them up till 3/4 and fully close. Stick a label with the name of the soup and when made. A frozen hearty soup is great for a busy evening. Once you are in a hurry or have been freezing your soup as a part of meal planning, take the jar out of the freezer the night before and let it thaw naturally.
