Recipe for Peanut Butter Cheesecake
As peanut butter on its own gives you that sweet, thick consistency, there is not much you need to add. No flour is required. Even a sweetener can be omitted as low-carb peanut butter is sweet on its own.
All you need is something to hold it together, which is eggs in our case. Plus, of course, baking or cooking it, so we do not have to use gelatine. And that is. Plain and simple with a few ingredients, you get the best Keto Peanut Butter Cheesecake.
Peanut Butter
Since we have transitioned to our Low Carb Lifestyle, with great satisfaction, I have realized that peanut butter is a big part of it as well.
Carbs in peanut butter are minimal, and that is an excellent addition for us.
The biggest rave started in our family when our younger daughter started asking for it all the time. She uses it on top of our Low Carb Crepes and prefers it much more than Nutella.
Peanut butter benefits
- It contains Fiber and Protein, which fills you up for much longer; therefore, it is preferred to add it to your Breakfast option.
- It also contains Magnesium, potassium, and ever-needed Vitamin E, which gives you even more reasons to have it in your Pantry.
- It is filled with healthy fats, which are so much needed especially when following a Low Carb High Fat Diet.
- Contains a pretty high amount of calories, which in exchange give you an energy boost for your whole day
- Because additional Vitamin B and Zinc also help our immune system.
Which Peanut Butter to buy?
When buying Peanut butter, be careful of the ingredients. Read the labels thoroughly and ensure it does not contain any added sugar. I have till now only bought creamed peanut butter with only peanuts as an ingredient.
I only buy pure ones that do not contain anything else. No sugar, no additional salt, nothing.
And after I have realized you can make your own homemade peanut butter in seconds, I doubt I will be buying it again. You know precisely there is nothing else.
Crustless Peanut Butter Cheesecake
To make it even quicker and reduce carbohydrates, I have also decided to skip the base.
Peanut Butter Cheesecake without the base. You do not actually need it. What for.
It makes it one step less in preparation and all is done much quicker.
Filled with all the probiotics from yogurt and powerful antioxidants from peanut butter, this cheesecake is not only unbelievably tasteful but full of health benefits for us.
Peanut Butter Cheesecake Topping
Since I have skipped the crust of a base for this cheesecake, I have decided to add some toppings, so this perfect Easy Keto Peanut Butter Cheesecake in an Instant Pot is not boring looking.
All I did was get unsalted peanuts. Pre-cut them into smaller pieces, roast a bit in a pot, and add our most favorite Brown Sweetener, which melts it all together.
Crush it into pieces and spread it all over the cake to add the best satisfaction you all deserve and crave for.

Before I go into the complete steps of making the easiest ever keto cheesecake, I have to mention some ideas that can be applied to any cheesecake recipes I have on the site. Read carefully because you can make many variations and even different keto desserts with the base.

STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS FOR MAKING THE BEST KETO LOW-CARB CHEESECAKE
First Step: Prepare Ingredients
As we only have 4 Ingredients in the basic Keto Cheesecake, it is easy to put them together.
If you plan to make the crunchy topping, add brown sweetener and a bowl of peanuts.
Second Step: Mix
Place all 4 ingredients into the bowl and mix: peanut butter, yogurt, sweetener, and eggs.
Third Step: Pour and cover
Pour the whole mixture into the Springform pan (that fits into your Instant Pot) lined with parchment paper from the sides as well. This will help in cleaning afterward.
As you see in the picture, I have made a base handle or a thick sheet from the aluminum foil (check video) to place the spring form into the instant pot easily and especially take out once everything is done and hot.
Cover the top of the springform pan with aluminum and ensure no air can come in or out. This will prevent your peanut butter cheesecake from becoming too dry and cracking.
Fourth Step: Instant Pot settings
Place your trivet into the Instant pot and add one cup of water.
Gently place your spring form with an aluminum holder into the Instant Pot.
Cover the lid and set your Instant Pot to pressure cook for 25 minutes on high pressure.
Once done, take out of the Instant Pot, let it cool and place into the refrigerator to set fully, best overnight.
Fifth Step: Prepare crunchy Peanut Crumble.
You can prepare the crunchy topping crumbles for your cheesecake if you would like. This is optional, and you can skip this step.
Roast unsalted peanuts on the stove. Add Brown Sugar sweetener and let it melt. Mix together and pour onto the parchment paper. Once cooled, break into small pieces to make peanut crumbles.
Sixth Step: Serve
Once you are ready to serve, take your cheesecake out of the fridge, and sprinkle it with peanut crumble and dollops of yogurt. Open the spring form and serve.
Tips and Tricks:
- Yogurt – could be swapped with Philadelphia cream cheese for higher fat content
- Crust – check our no-bake Wild Blueberry Cheesecake crust to die for
- No-bake – Skip eggs and mix 1 Tablespoon of Gelatin melted in boiling water. Once cooled, add to the mixture and blend thoroughly. Follow the same steps, but skip Instant Pot cooking.
- Oven Bake – You can easily make this cheesecake in the oven. Place the springform pan into the bigger pan covered with water to get the steaming effect as with Instant Pot. Bake for 40 minutes.

Of course, it can. I have not made it myself, but from experience, use the same instructions and leave it for 45 minutes instead of 25. Also to keep the creaminess, I would suggest adding a pan filled with water into the oven. That would give you the same feature as Instant Pot does for this particular recipe.Â

Hello! I want to make this cheesecake, but I only have an oven. I also only have a 5 and 6 inch baking pan as I live alone thats why I make small cakes. When you say put a pan with water in the oven, where exactly should I put it? Should the baking pan go into the pan with water? And how long should I bake it if I halve the recipe ( 5 or 6 inch pan?)? Sorry for so many questions..
I normally place a pan with water on the shelve just under the cheesecake.

If it is high enough, you can make a bit higher cake with the same amount. In that case, I will for sure leave the time as it is.
But you can halve it as well and reduce the time by 5-10 minutes. The cake needs to pressurize and fully cook whatever the size.
What temperature do you bake in the oven ?
I would suggest to bake it at 325-350F as a standard temperature for all the cheesecakes.

I just let it release it itself. But if you are in a hurry both will work and the cake should be ready at that time.
