But curry can be keto-friendly if you make it with low-carb ingredients and avoid adding high-carb thickeners such as flour or cornstarch. You can use coconut milk or cream as a base instead of heavy cream or yogurt.

First Step: Prepare Ingredients

Prepare all ingredients for easy cooking. Chop onion and crush garlic. Clean and cut the chicken breast into smaller pieces.

Start by heating your cooking pan. Add oil and let it warm. Add the onion, crushed garlic and let it caramelize. 

Add all the mild curry powder and let the spices roast with oil to enhance the flavor.

Third Step: Chicken and Sauce

Add chicken pieces and let them cook thoroughly. Once the chicken is cooked, add canned coconut cream and full-fat coconut milk and let the curry simmer for 5 to 10 minutes until the sauce is thickened.

Serve with freshly chopped cilantro.

Can I Freeze Coconut Chicken Curry?
