Keto Gnocchi Recipe
Following our popular Homemade Keto Gnocchi post, where I have explained everything possible on how to make the best Keto Gnocchi you will love, I could not just stop right there.
Adding flavors and different sauces only adds to various ways that our Gnocchi can be used as.
With flavorful Fresh Spinach Gnocchi Sauce and Keto Gnocchi Tomato Basil to start, I am continuing to add one more, which is something similar to an Alfredo Sauce.
Keto Gnocchi with Coconut flour
Can I swap Coconut Flour to make Gnocchi?
You might have asked.
I have done it while my trials and therefore have the right answer for you.
No, I would not suggest swapping the Coconut Flour with Almond flour in this Keto Recipe.
Using Almond Flour would make those Low Carb Gnocchi much softer and difficult to shape. They also do not cook well using almond flour.
But if you are worried about the coconut taste, you should not.
There is no aftertaste of coconuts at all in this recipe.
All you get is beautiful Pilowy Pasta texture as Gnocchi Di Patate should be.
Keto Alfredo Sauce
I could have made them with original Alfredo Sauce, but that might come some other time. I have decided to make a few changes for you because I just know my ways are as flavorful as Alfredo sauce would be, if not even better.
Keto Bacon Recipe
Bacon is being used in our lifestyle frequently and everyone loves Bacon.
I could not have left it out and instead of original butter in Alfredo Sauce, I have replaced that with bacon, which gives us the fat content, but the additional flavor and taste.
Cheese
Parmesan Cheese is used in Alfredo Sauce and that is the second ingredient I have swapped. I have chosen to use ordinary hard cheese as that is something you always have in your fridge.
And I wanted to have this recipe for you with the ingredients you always at home.
I have used Emmental Cheese, but use the one you prefer and have at home.
So not an Alfredo Sauce Keto Gnocchi, but Low Carb Gnocchi with Bacon and Cream sauce.
Keto Pasta
This Cheesy Bacon Keto Sauce is perfect not only with Gnocchi but you can use it together with our Keto Egg Noodles or Fiber Noodles as well. Choose what you like and enjoy.
Orecchiette
As you see in the images, I have decided to go with the Orecchiette pasta shape as I found that is super simple to achieve.
All you have to do is roll the Keto gnocchi dough into small balls and using your thumb gently press in the middle to make the little tiny ear-like shape as Italians call it.
You can see the whole process in our Video for better understanding.
Our Keto Gnocchi is easy to use, boiled in the water like normal pasta would be, and can be enjoyed with anything you can imagine.
My next idea is to make something sweet with them.
Portion Control
I have to let you know, that after having this comforting food for dinner, I have decided to split the whole recipe into 4 portions.
It is extra filling and even after you might think this is little, you will not be able to finish it.
Calories for a portion are pretty high at 309 and therefore extra filling.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS
There are various ways you can thicken any of the Keto Sauce or Low Carb Soup if you prefer.
In our case, I would suggest adding either a pinch of Xanthan Gum or Gelatin while the sauce is boiling.
Using Xanthan gum, you have to be careful as a bit more can end up having a jelly-like texture sauce.
For any other recipes, you can use either avocado or cauliflower to thicken your sauce or soup.
You can certainly make your gnocchi a day in advance and have them stored in the refrigerator.
You can also freeze the raw gnocchi and take them out whenever needed.
How Can I store Gnocchi Bacon Cream Sauce?
I would suggest storing Gnocchi and sauce separately if you are planning to store them.
Place each into the Mason Jar and store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
If longer, freeze.

Can I use Xanthan Gum instead of Guar Gum in this recipe please?
Not really,
Xanthan will make the dough sticky and difficult to form.
I don’t eat bacon, and used a Roquefort cheese (blue cheese). It went perfectly with this!
OMG, I love Roquefort so so much. Best baked on a piece of our Keto Farmers Bread.
Thank you Zuzana, we used these gnocchi for “bryndzovรฉ haluลกky” today.Even my foodie husband was impressed ?
Yum, I want them right now.
I do not live the Keto Lifestyle, but I do like many of the recipes. I am excited to try this oneโฆjust need to get some coconut flour. Anyway, I would like to take a portion to work for lunch. What would be the best way to pack it? Together with the sauce, or separated? And, what would be the reheating instructions? Thank you so much.
I would suggest separating the sauce as everything might soften up. I have not tried it, so maybe I am wrong, but to be on the safe side, I would keep them separate until served. Simply be heating both in the microwave should work.
