Our ever-so-popular Mince Sauce Recipe Bolognese is one sauce, everyone should try and make. This Healthy Bolognese Sauce is unreal in taste and gives you so many flavors you will be making it over and over. Italian Food rocks big time whatever you are making. 

With its extreme versatility, you can use it as a Keto Sauce, add it into any of the veggies, and have your BBQ Meal ready in no time.

You can also make a mini Zucchini Bites or Stuffed Mushrooms Appetizer with one and only Ragu Sauce. Or fill your Eggplant as well. That is the next recipe I am going to prepare for you all. 

Low Carb Spaghetti

To mix it up, add one of Keto Pasta Variations or go directly with our Homemade Keto Spaghetti to prepare the best ever almost Authentic Low Carb Spaghetti Bolognese.

I have also made Low Carb Spaghetti with my Keto Fiber Noodles, where you can have a variety of adding Spinach or Turmeric to change the color for a little bit of extra vibrance. That still counts perfectly as a Keto Spaghetti Bolognese.

Question if we can all eat spaghetti on Keto Lifestyle, I get so many times. 
Mostly it is from my friends, who are not following keto, or readers, who are brand new to changing their way of eating and do not know. 

After they realize, that yes, you can eat Spaghetti on Keto, just a bit different variety, they are astonished. 

I mean who would not be?

What Keto Spaghetti can you use?

You can have homemade Spaghetti, you can make Spaghetti out of various vegetables like famous Zucchini Noodles called Zoodles, you can buy Shirataki or Miracle noodles, you can have Palmini Noodles. 

You can even use Pumpkins to make Spaghetti Squash. There are so many.

How Many Carbs are in a bowl of Spaghetti Bolognese?

With taking into consideration our recipe, you get a perfect 6 portions of filling Keto Meal you have always craved for. Why not add them into the Keto Meal Plan as well. 

One portion or one bowl of Spaghetti Bolognese has only 4 grams of Total Carbs with 1g of Fiber, which will give you a total of 3 grams of Neto Carbs.

How many Calories are in Low Carb Spaghetti Bolognese Sauce?

There are quite a bit of calorie in Mince Meat Sauce as it does contains bacon as well as Heavy Cream.

But once you calculate it all, 1 portion gives you mere 261 Spaghetti Bolognese Calories.

For that what is all in, I believe this is just a perfect Meal. 

What Bread Goes with Spaghetti?

Even though I personally never eat bread with any of the past meals, there are lots of people who do. 

The reason is, that once you eat all of the spaghetti, you are still going to be left with quite a bit of Bolognese sauce in a bowl. 

And what a better way to finish it than a perfect Keto Bread. Our Keto Farmers Bread is just right for it. 

You can go even further and top up few slices with grated cheese and garlic and bake it in the oven for few minutes. You will get a perfect Keto Baked Garlic Bread. 

I have tried it once with our Roasted Tomato Basil Soup and I tell you, the taste is just awesome.

  • Eggs
  • Cream Cheese
  • Bamboo Fiber

Bolognese Sauce:

  • Minced Meat
  • Tomato Sauce
  • Heavy Cream
  • Bacon
  • Onion
  • Garlic
  • Celery
  • Fresh Oregano
  • Fresh Marjoram
  • Salt & Pepper

STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS ON THE BEST LOW CARB SPAGHETTI BOLOGNESE

First Step: Ingredients for Low Carb Spaghetti

Preparing Carb Spaghetti is very easy.

All you need is eggs, cream cheese, and some kind of fiber. 

I have used Bamboo Fiber in this recipe, but you can swap it for Potato Fiber or Oat Fiber as well. In that case, use only 2 Tbsp.

Prepare all of your ingredients.

Second Step: Blend all ingredients

Place all of the ingredients for Pasta making into the blender or a Magic Bullet.

Mix fully until all combined.

Third Step: Pour and bake Low Carb Pasta Mixture

Pour either on a silicone baking sheet with edges or an ordinary baking sheet covered with Parchment paper. 

Bake for 8 minutes on 160C or 320F

Fourth Step: Prepare spaghetti

Once it is baked, peel the parchment paper or a silicone sheet from the pasta sheet.

If you are going to use a Pasta Machine, cut the sheet into the sizes, that fits in.

If you do not have a pasta machine, roll the whole pasta sheet and using a sharp knife, cut it into thin slices.

Fifth Step: Ingredients for Bolognese Sauce

As you see in the image, it is best to prepare all of the ingredients for Bolognese Sauce in advance. 

Cut your Bacon, Celery, Onion as well as Garlic into small squares. 

Oregano and Marjoram should be also cut as tiny as possible.

Sixth Step: Prepare Bolognese Sauce 

Start with cooking onion together with garlic. 

Once browned, add bacon and Minced meat of your choice and cook for about 10-15 minutes. 

Add celery as well as spices, a bit of salt, and pepper. Stir all together and cook for another 10 minutes.

As last, add tomato sauce and heavy cream, mix gently all together and cover with a lid. 

Cook for additional 40 minutes.

Seventh Step: Combine Bolognese Sauce with Spaghetti

Once your bolognese sauce is ready, you can place spaghetti onto the bowl and top it up with Bolognese sauce. 

You do not have to reheat the spaghetti, as the sauce will warm them up fully. But you can if you would like to. 

Just warm them up in a microwave for few seconds.

Tips and Tricks

No pasta machine – if you do not have a pasta machine, just roll the dough into a roulade and using a sharp knife cut into tiny slices. 

Fiber for Spaghetti – You can use various Fibers to try and make tiny different types of Spaghetti. Bamboo Fiber can be replaced with either Oat Fiber or Potato Fiber. If you will choose that, use only half of the fiber (2 Tbsp) as Bamboo fiber has a slightly lighter consistency and volume. 

Silicone Baking sheet – if you do not have a silicone baking sheet, just use an ordinary baking tray covered with Parchment Paper

Minced Meat – you can alternate between ground beef, ground turkey or ground pork

How can you store Spaghetti Bolognese?

I do suggest storing Spaghetti separately in a glass container.

The same goes with Bolognese sauce. Place it into the mason jar and into the fridge.

If you are going to use all of the ragu sauce, you can well place the whole pot into the fridge once the bolognese sauce is cooled. 

Otherwise, store some in a Mason jar in the freezer for later on. 

Can you freeze Bolognese Sauce together with Spaghetti?

You can certainly freeze both bolognese sauce as well as spaghetti.

I would suggest storing them separately as the spaghetti much becomes mushy, after de-freezing, if you have them together with the sauce.

Spaghetti:

Bolognese Sauce

  • 300 g (1 Cup) Minced Beef
  • 100 g (1,5 Cup) Diced Bacon
  • 1/2 Cup (2 Stems), Diced Fresh Celery
  • 25g (1 small) Onion
  • 2 Garlic Cloves
  • 250g (1/3 Cup) Tomato Sauce
  • 115g (1/2 Cup) Heavy Cream
  • 1 Tbsp Fresh Oregano
  • 1 Tbsp Fresh Marjoram

What tomato sauce did you use in your bolognese sauce? When i put the ingredients into the carb calculator for my macros app it calculates there are too many carbs! Please help.

I always buy the ones with the least carbs, but once you add all of the other ingredients and split into the portions, you will get much less carbs than expected
