I am sure you have already seen our Famous Keto Cheese Bacon Nachos. They are unbelievably popular and perfect as a replacement for Normal Nachos. Dipping them into our Homemade Cheese Dip, Guacamole Dip or enjoying them with our Keto Avocado Egg Salad is just a perfect Keto Snacks for your movie night or as an appetizer when guests arrive.

But what if I told you you can have exactly the same WOW effect with chips?
Like real Chips. Well almost like a real Chips. Without Potatoes of course.
No kidding.
Those beauties are exactly as pulled out of the plastic bags you bought in the supermarket.
Super Crunchy with extra flavor, addictive like no others and with bacony flavor there is no way of leaving them alone.
And there you go. They are gone in minutes.
As usual.
That happens every time I make them. If we have guests, I have to hide those Keto Chips from my family until everyone is seated. And there they go on the table and before I manage to place dips, half of them are gone.

Keto Snacks
With already wast majority of recipes on my blog, I guess it would be time to start making a Keto Snacks Book.
But I just can not help it. Keto Snacks are the one part of exploring, that always gets me.
I always want to make and discover another Keto Snack we can have either in the evening or as a lunch box idea for my daughter.
And most of them do contain cheese.
Starting with our Keto Popcorns, through to Goldfish Crackers, Fried Cheese Balls, Nachos, Oven-Baked Cheese Chips, Cheese Puffs and Sesame Keto Crackers. I just can not stop. Anyway.
Just can not miss mentioning those TikTok Viral Crunchy Twisted Bacon done in 5 different variations.
I have attached all of our Keto Cheese Snacks Recipes down below at the end of this post for you to have a look at.
Maybe something will inspire you to try.
As for my belief. There is NEVER enough of Keto Cheese Snacks Recipes.
But I will soon run out of the Ideas for the names. 🙂

Keto Cheese Bacon Chips
I would suggest jumping straight into our steps for the recipes, followed by a few tips and answering all of the questions you might have.
So read carefully and do not miss this part, please.
How to make Keto Cheese Bacon Chips?
Kitchen Gadgets you might need:
- Cheese Grater
- Baking tray
- Silicone Baking Sheet
Ingredients needed:
- Hard Cheese of your preference
- Cheddar Cheese
- Bacon

STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO MAKE THE BEST EVER KETO CHEESE BACON CHIPS
First Step: Prepare Ingredients
First, preheat your oven to 200C or 390F
To make keto cheese bacon chips first you have to prepare all the ingredients.
For this recipe, all you need is two different types of cheese plus bacon.
What type of cheese you pick it’s really entirely up to you as long as the cheese is hard.
I like to use Emmental cheese together with Cheddar for the color.
Whatever cheese you decide to bake with grate it on a cheese grater.
Grate the cheese yourself
If possible do not use already pre-grated cheese. I mentioned this in every single recipe where cheese is involved.
When you buy already pre-grated cheese it is a carrot with starch to keep the cheese pieces separated. If you buy cheese the best is to get it in a box and great it directly whenever you need it.
In that way, you get the freshest cheese possible.
Cut bacon into tiny pieces. You do not have to pre-cook it since this bacon will be cooked anyway in the oven while making the Keto Cheese Bacon chips.

Second Step: Place the first Cheese
Prepare a baking tray covered with either a silicone baking sheet or a parchment paper. Start with Emmental cheese or cheese of your choice and put a few grated pieces in a round shape on the baking tray.

Third Step: Bacon on top
Once you have done the first step take the bacon and put a few pieces of bacon on top of each cheese dip.

Fourth Step: cover with Cheddar
The third and final step involves adding a cheddar cheese on top of the Emmental and the bacon.
I prefer the Cheddar cheese because of the color and strong flavor but you can pick any cheese of your choice.

Fifth Step: Bake
Simply place the baking tray into a preheated oven and bake for approximately 10 minutes.

Tips and Tricks
Cheese Blocks – always buy cheese blocks if possible. As I have already mentioned quite a few times in our recipes, using already pre-shredded cheese is not the best idea. Most of the store-bought shredded cheeses are covered in some kind of starch for them to not go old and moldy being in the plastic bags.
By shredding or grating your cheese directly before cooking, you will not only get the freshest cheese you can imagine, but you will know that there is nothing else in there except pure cheese.
Crispiness – every oven is different and therefore I would suggest watching your chips. They can either burn very fast or the process might take a bit longer. Just check it out. If you feel that the chips are not crispy after cooling them fully, keep them in the oven for a bit longer next time.
Type of cheese – You can use any type of hard cheese. Depending on your preference, pick two of your favorites. Cheddar gives you that perfect orange look and therefore I always pick that as the main base. Other variety really varies depending on what we have at home at that time. I prefer Emmental Cheese and that is most on the time in the fridge.
Bacon – pre-baked or not does not really matters. If the bacon is raw, you do not have to prebake it, since it will bake anyways during the Keto Chips Baking process in the oven.

Question if Chips are Keto Friendly really depends on what chips are you looking at.
If the chips are made entirely from cheese only like our Keto Popcorns or Cheese Pops for example or are mixed cheese with one of the nuts flowers than they are considered Fully Keto.
On our website, all of the snacks are Low Carb and keto since this the lifestyle we are following.
If you are looking at the Chips you see in the supermarkets, make sure you fully read the ingredients. Even if its written Keto or Low Carb or reduced Carbs.
The type of keto Chips is really broad.
But we can put them into 3 main categories:
Fathead – those are the keto chips or Keto snacks made out of Fat Head Dough with few alternations depending on the person making them.
Cheese – either made out of pure cheese only or various mixtures of Cheese and Nut Flours, Chips could be baked into Keto Perfection.
Veggies – pure vegetables, green leaves, or cur root veggies, which are seasoned are perfect additions to Keto Recipes, and Chips made of vegetables are very popular in our lifestyle.
The Chips with the lowest Carbohydrates are of course vegetable ones.
An example are our Dehydrated Zucchini Chips, which are not only super tasty but also dehydrated to crispy perfection.
But if you do ignore the fat and protein, Pure Cheese Chips like our Low Carb Popcorn or Keto Goldfish Crackers, are also with 0 carbohydrates.
So, in the end, you have to look at more various nutrition facts in general.
The selection of Dips to serve with Keto Chips is so vast.
You can serve them with Plain Homemade Greek Yogurt sprinkled with either smoked Paprika, Turmeric
You can mix a full bowl of our favorite Homemade Garlic Cheese Dip
Wild Garlic Pesto or Green Goddess Dressing which is great if mixed with a bit of yogurt or sour cream
You can also quickly mix soft avocado with a bit or tomatoes for a great Guacamole or use our favorite salsa.
Those Cheese Bacon Chips are perfectly stored on your kitchen counter or a Pantry in an airtight container to prevent the sagginess.
In the container, they will last a really long time.
I had them stored even for 3 weeks and they were still perfect and crunchy.
I would not suggest freezing Keto Cheese Bacon Chips as they will for sure become soggy, whatever packing method you will use.
But if you insist, you can freeze them without the problem. Just bear in mind, that after unfreezing you would have to put them once again into the oven to re-crisp.
