Keto Bread Recipes

With our vast growth of various Keto and Low Carb Bread Recipes, it will be more and more difficult for you to choose which one is the best. But Let me summarize.

Newsletter and Keto Free Ebook

Our Keto Farmers Bread is the best loaf for your breakfast or made into sandwiches. It replicates the taste, texture, and smell of authentic rustic artisan bread you should not miss.

Next comes Low Carb Yogurt Buns entirely white and soft from inside, and Fiber Bread Rolls more on a rustic site. Bagels are bagels, and I guess it does not need to be explained.

But they all are best to have as savory.

Keto Sweet Bread

Our Keto French toast made with Brioche Bread needs to be a part of the collection, but on a sweet side. Challah Bread was the first sweet loaf I have developed, loved, and enjoyed throughout the years, and I knew I would further create more recipes with the base I have used.

Keto Breakfast choices

There are two types of people.

The ones who like their Breakfast savory with eggs, bacon, ham, fresh veggies, and so on.

I do belong to this group.

Then comes the sweet group, and that is my husband. They love to have a sweet breakfast at the start of the day.

The significant part is that our recipes cater to all groups.

With having a sweet breakfast in mind, we can always choose from Crepes, Chaffle – Waffle, Chocolate Chaffles, Pancakes, Granola, Chia Pudding, and even Candied Bacon

Keto French Toast

Today, we will concentrate on the best Keto French Toast ever made. We will make the French toast, which is made with proper keto french bread as it should be.

And guess what. We have that. I have developed a perfect Keto Toast, almost identical to the ordinary toast used for making a French toast in our previous full carbs lifestyle.

Best Breads for French Toast

When you start researching keto recipes for french toast, most are made with 90 second bread.

Almost every recipe I have looked at is made with 90 second bread.

But you have to agree that 90 seconds bread is not really bread for an authentic french toast. Am I right?

A real french toast needs real toast bread and I believe I have found a solution.

Our Low Carb Brioche Bread is exactly what you need.

Filled with protein, without carbohydrates, that is all you need. A perfect, sweet breakfast without additional carbs and almost identical to what you were used to.

Baked French Toast with Brioche

Having a perfect keto bread pudding is my next aim, and I promise I will do my best to develop for you the best ever French Toast casserole or Bread pudding as some might call it in a few weeks.

Savory French Toast

In the meantime, while we start on going deeper into making a perfect keto french toast, let me introduce you to my child’s favorite savory french toast.

We call it an egg bread or an Eggy Bread, and it is made with our famous Farmers Bread. This bread used to be my favorite breakfast as a small kid, and my mum used to make it regularly.

Every time our bread is not fresh anymore, I do it now as well, and the whole family loves it. You should give it a go as well.

What is a French Toast?

French Toast is a bread slice soaked in egg mixture and fried on a pan.

The most famous french toast is a sweet dish, where sugar, a drop of milk, cinnamon, and vanilla are added into the mixture.

Poured over with honey, maple syrup, and decorated with fruits, french toast is a worldwide delicacy known under the names of lost bread, gypsy toast, Bombay toast, German toast, or french-fried bread.

What kind of bread should be used for French Toast?

The best bread choice for making a perfect French toast is a thick slice that is tender and perfectly soaks the mixture you are soaking the bread in.

The most popular is to use brioche bread, challah bread, or a brioche toast that is soft from the inside. It is always advised to use a few days old bread slices, and they soak the mixture much better as the fresh bread does.

You have come to the right place. You can 100% make a perfect French toast with an ideal Keto Brioche Bread that is high in protein and low in carbohydrates.

Third Step: Soak the toast

Place one toast inside the mixture and let it soak for half a second.

I usually turn the toast a few times inside the mixture to ensure the bread is thoroughly soaked in.

I usually soak the first toast and then start heating my pan, following up with additional toasts later.

Fourth Step: Heat the pan and butter.

Heat your pan and put butter or olive oil of your choice for frying.

Make sure it is fully heated for the french toast to start frying immediately.

At the same time, place the second toast into the mixture and let it soak. Turn it a few times and put it on the frying pan.

Continue with other toasts, depending on how many you can fit onto your pan.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS

How to make Keto French Toast Sticks?

Making Keto French Toast Sticks with our recipe is super easy.

Simply cut your toast into sticks before you start soaking it in the mixture.

Follow the same steps as with our French toast recipe.

How long do you soak bread for french toast?

It is best to let the bread soak in the mixture for a few minutes. It will make your French toast perfectly soft.

Of course, it all depends on your time, and I usually let it soak for about 30 seconds as I never have time before the breakfast is served.

How to keep French Toast warm?

If you are preparing more servings of a French Toast or making it for the whole family, simply place the toast into a casserole and store it in the warmed-up oven where they can stay until all of your French toasts are made.

In that way, you can serve a hot French toast even for the whole party.

Can you freeze keto french toast?

You can undoubtedly freeze ready-made french toast, but I would suggest freezing your actual brioche bread loaf and making the French toast fresh.
